Disney+ (pronounced Disney Plus) is a subscription video on-demand streaming service owned and operated by the Direct-to-Consumer & International (DTCI) subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. The service primarily distributes films and television series produced by The Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Television, with the service also advertising content from the company's Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic brands in particular. Original films and television series are also distributed on Disney+, with ten films and seven series having been produced for the platform as of November 2019. Serving adjacent to Disney's other streaming platforms – the general programming-oriented Hulu and the sports-oriented ESPN+ – Disney+ focuses on family entertainment based around Disney brands.

A former employee said this in a review “Disney+ is so profit driven and so the work culture is that of factory workers slaving away in a dark room tasked with repetitive chores. Micro managing is the norm. The job is extremely monotonous and low-paying. Managers have no schooling or adequate training for managing people. If you have a college degree, you pose a threat to their fragile egos."

Thousands of hacked Disney+ accounts are already for sale on hacking forums. Hackers didn't waste any time and have started hijacking Disney+ user accounts hours after the service launched on November 12. Many of these accounts are now being offered for free on hacking forums, or available for sale for prices varying from $3 to $11, a ZDNet investigation has discovered. One thing Disney+ could do to help users would be to roll out support for multi-factor authentication, a simple solution that would prevent attacks relying on password reuse.

"Someone gifted us disney plus. It wont run on android or linux - they have the normal browsers like chrome and firefox and even more esoteric ones-disney just doesnt work. Tried to install the android app - fail and fail again no matter how many different ways i tried. So we use a regular pc hooked up through hdmi - it runs ok but always breaks in the middle (gives an \'out of memory\' error? what - i have never had that happen on anything else through the browser ...EVER... and I have been on the internet since the late 80s. On restart, it starts back up from the beginning of the movie - so tedious. Even free roku plays better. Netflix didn\'t ever have any problems on any of our different devices (windows,roku,android,ios,linux - tvs, pc\'s,phones,tablets. Who did disney contract to do their service? I want to know as it must be a terrible company. Its 2021 - Hey Disney, cant you even stream a movie through a browser?"

"I never really liked this streaming domination thing that seemed to start in 2019 as I fear it\'ll kill movie theaters (COVID-19 not helping), especially since they used one of their pointless remakes to try to launch it and other films they put on it were horrible turds like Artemis Fowl and the 2020 Mulan remake, but hearing what\'s going on behind the scenes, besides the Gina Carano situation along with how they treat their workers, is beyond appalling, and I\'m pretty sure in the future, like maybe the 2030s, we\'ll hear all kinds of horror stories about working at Disney+, like that the poor workers were being paid in nacho cheese packets and forced to work 23 hour shifts with no breaks nor lunches... Seeing how there are a lot of hackers due to Disney\'s lack of cyber securities, I say, hey hackers, wanna do us all a favor and instead shut the website down or infect it? Better that than supporting Uighur genocide in communist China like Disney!! Those damn stupid commercials for it along with that sh*t logo makes me want to go on a destructive rampage every time I see it. Only a fool lamb would truly buy this streaming service, and those who say positive stuff about it are not only enabling Disney\'s support of national socialism, but are no doubt on Disney\'s payroll and were promised either a free lifetime subscription to it or free lifetime season passes to the Disney Parks if they said anything positive about it, or both!"

"It’s a POS. It constantly crashes, doesn’t load video, buffers, sound goes in and out, takes forever to load, lame censorship warnings, and oh yeah firing employees for having opinions different than theirs. Advocating for strong women and then proofing they hate women when an actual strong woman stands up to them. "

"There\'s a lot of issues that I find with this app. There is no way to continue watching, no setting to auto play, you watch about five episodes of a 15-30 minute show, and then it just stops playing. The continue watching category only shows something that you\'ve watched in the past 24 hours. If I want to go back to continue watching something I have to remember what it was or try to hunt for it in categories that aren\'t organize. The only reason I give it two stars is because it does have a good selection of things that can\'t be found elsewhere, but unfortunately the app itself just doesn\'t make it easy to find those things. I searched alphabetical, things were not in alphabetical order. For example if you try to search for The Simpsons, I typed the simps and it\'s still trying to suggest stuff to me like mickey mouse. How does that have anything to do with at all the spelling of the simpsons?? If I\'m searching for something I would prefer it only show me titles that are alphabetically similar. We only downloaded the Disney Plus as a free trial and it was supposed to be 6 months free trial but after less than a month they\'re trying to charge us. "

Lacks the features of competitors, repetitive notifications on the app that you cannot turn off in the app, "service emails" about new categories (which I consider marketing) which you cannot disable, a pain in the butt to request data erasure, but most fustrating is there are no options to email Disney Plus, you can online live chat or call."

"I signed up to this thinking it would be great for my fiance it's a very good website a lot of good movies but there is one problem they send you a lot of spam emails I have had over 15 emails in 24-hours. Not Good"

"First, i was being over charged for bundle with an incorrect deduction. Talked to customer service. They said it was all cleared up and I'll see the correct changes next month. Turned on app a month later, my account was canceled /billing suspended. Called customer service. Was rudely going up on by Zack. Waited over ten minutes again. I mentioned the last agent hung up and they said they wouldn't. As soon as i started explaining, they hung up on me again. I have been hung up on twice in the past 30min trying to deal with my account issue. customer service has been rude, unprofessional and very unhelpful"

"Technical platform seems bad - it's been slowing a black screen at login and then afterwards reloading the same page over and over again for 20 minutes. And then the entire first season of the Mandalorian is not available, but only the first three episodes. I think Disney misunderstands what cord cutting is all about, but let me lay it out for you: It's about not having to to accommodate my life after some TV network's schedule, but that streaming services allow me to watch when it pleases me."
